Post 2951 News
Memorial Day is a sacred day for Veterans, and it's true meaning - remembering those who have died while serving the nation in uniform and paying tribute to their sacrifices. The National Moment of Remembrance should be observed by all Americans at 3 p.m. ET (1 p.m. Mountain Daylight Saving Time) on Memorial Day so declared by The White House Commission in 2000. The Commission notes that "all MLB games halt, Amtrak train whistles sound and hundreds of other nationwide participants remind Americans to pause" for the Moment of Remembrance.

Greetings Comrades,

December was a very busy month. The children's party held on December 15th was a huge success.  We had about 90 kids. Thanks to Santa Claus (Mike Sisneros) who brought so much joy and presents to the kids. The Adult Christmas party was also held the same night. Entertainment provided by Bonifacio Benavidez was great success. For New Year’s Party music was provided by Reflections.
